Family-Friendly Hotels at Fiumicino Airport

Children’s rates and breakfast
Best Western Hotel Rome Airport lets one child up to 3 stay free with two paying adults. Its breakfast costs 18 euros per person when not included, served from 06:00 to 09:30 between November and March and from 06:00 to 10:00 from April.
Rome Airport Hotel Fiumicino lets up to two children aged up to 2 stay free in their parents’ room, provided no extra bed is added. Breakfast costs 7.50 euros per person when not included in the rate.
Hilton Rome Airport and Hilton Garden Inn both have a children’s menu, and the Hilton lists childcare. Booking sites list children’s breakfast at 8 euros at the Hilton and 6 euros at Hilton Garden Inn. The Mercure serves breakfast from 06:00 to 10:30 in the dining room. None of these four publishes a free-stay rule for children.
Pools
The Hilton has the only indoor pool of the six, with a hot tub; booking sites list pool hours of 07:00 to 22:00.
The Mercure’s outdoor pool opens from May to September, 10:00 to 20:00, free for hotel guests, with towels provided. The Best Western also has an outdoor pool; booking sites list 08:00 to 19:00, and the hotel does not publish its season. Hilton Garden Inn, Rome Airport Hotel Fiumicino and Air Rooms have no pool.
Getting to the terminal with children and bags
The Hilton walkway is covered, has moving walkways and takes under 10 minutes to Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 3 (T3). There is no vehicle to load, which matters with a pushchair, a car seat and several cases. Air Rooms is also reached on foot.
Hilton Garden Inn’s free shuttle runs every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, from T3 arrivals. The Best Western and Mercure shuttles charge per person (8 and 7 euros each way), so a family of four pays 28 to 32 euros one way.
